Hoss Amor has won the 2011 Wyong Magic Millions 2YO Classic at Wyong Racecourse today.
It was the first race start for the two-year-old filly, who will now be going on towards the $2 million Gold Coast Magic Millions 2YO Classic in January.
Hoss Amor, who is trained by John O’Shea, was ridden to victory by jockey Brenton Avdulla.
“She did a good job,” Avdulla said.
“Johnny (O’Shea) had her tuned up to the mark today.
“She hit the line strong.
“She was up against horses that have raced and been competitive.
“That’s the only time I’ve had anything to do with her and john’s been confident all week she’d run well.
“I think she’s going to be a very nice ride in the Magic Millions.”
Hidden Warrior finished home in second and Dear Demi rounded out the placings in third.
